About Summit Seeker
We're building America's most comprehensive free hiking trail database—one trail at a time.
Our Mission
Summit Seeker was created with a simple mission: make detailed hiking trail information freely accessible to everyone. We believe that exploring the outdoors shouldn't require expensive subscriptions or paywalls. Every hiker deserves access to accurate trail maps, elevation profiles, safety information, and planning tools—completely free.
Why We Built This
As passionate hikers ourselves, we've experienced the frustration of:

Our Commitment to You
100% Free. Forever.
Summit Seeker will always provide core trail information completely free. We're supported by display advertising and affiliate partnerships with outdoor gear retailers—never paywalls or subscriptions.
