11 Curated Adventures
Indiana's ranked summits are a run of wooded knobs across the southern half of the state — the knobstone-escarpment country of the Hoosier National Forest, from the Ohio River hills near Fisher Knobs and Mount Tom up through Brown County and out to the earthwork-dotted rise called The Mounds, near the Ohio line. The state's own high point, Hoosier Hill in Wayne County at 1,257 feet, isn't in this database at all yet — but The Mounds, the tallest entry live today at 988 feet, sits only about 20 miles from it. Fisher Knobs and Pigeon Roost tie as the shortest hikes in the group at 1.0 miles out-and-back; Hominy Mortar's 14.6-mile out-and-back is the longest. 14 more Indiana summits are already queued in the database — these 11 are simply the ones with a confirmed route and elevation profile today.
