11 Curated Adventures
Wisconsin's ranked summits split into two clusters roughly 200 miles apart. Up in Price County's north woods, Timms Hill reaches 1,951 feet — Wisconsin's real, official state high point, unlike Illinois' Charles Mound or Mississippi's Woodall Mountain, neither of which has a confirmed route in this database yet — with Chase Hill (1,752 feet) rising nearby in the same north-central highlands. Farther south, in the Driftless Area near Madison, Blue Mounds tops out at 1,719 feet as an erosion-resistant, quartzite-capped remnant that survived precisely because the Driftless Area was never glaciated, while out in the Kettle Moraine country of eastern Wisconsin, Dundee Mountain carries the longest hike in the group. The shortest hike in the group is Sugarloaf Hill's 0.4-mile out-and-back; Dundee Mountain's 12.3-mile out-and-back is the longest. 14 more Wisconsin summits are already queued in the database — these 11 are simply the ones with a confirmed route and elevation profile today.
