About Lower Yosemite Fall

The Lower Yosemite Fall Loop is Yosemite's most accessible waterfall trail—a fully paved, wheelchair-friendly 1-mile loop leading to the base of the iconic 2,425-foot Yosemite Falls. This is the perfect introduction to Yosemite's waterfalls for families, those with limited mobility, or anyone wanting a quick valley experience.

The trail loops through oak woodland to a viewing area at the base of Lower Yosemite Fall (the 320-foot lower section). In spring, prepare to get soaked from the powerful spray! In summer and fall, the falls may be barely a trickle or completely dry.
